A RITUAL TO FIND CLARITY IN YOUR BUSINESS
The thing I have come to understand about searching for clarity - the harder you search for it, the harder it is to find.
So often your desire to find clarity can get you feeling stuck in a never ending thought pattern. Which is why I have created this little ritual for when you get stuck wondering - Which direction should you choose? What should be your next step? This thing or that thing?
But the truth is, clarity can only be found by listening to your soul's desire. Your intuition, your inner compass and guide. That little inkling inside of you that knows the way forward but is often too afraid to start or take the leap.
In times you are struggling to find clarity, my best advice is to listen to your body, not your mind, and simply just get started. You don’t need to know all the steps, just follow your curiosity and see where it leads you.
You cannot think your way to clarity, this will only leave you feeling even more confused.
Do something that you find relaxing - this could be going for a walk out in nature, doing a meditation or simply lying in a quiet room for 20 minutes.
Anything that is going to help you get out of your mind and back in your body.
So in times when you are searching for the answers
Once you are feeling calm and more present try to write everything down.
You could do this on a massive sheet of paper, in a notebook or in Notion (whichever feels best). I love using my window with a Chalk Window Marker so that I can take a step back and see how all the pieces fit together.
Once you have emptied out all of your conflicting thoughts you can try and find the thread that weaves all these random ideas and decisions together.
Again, there is no right or wrong decision, only the most intentional way to move forward based on everything you know at this present moment in time. The only way to truly gain clarity in your business is to move from thinking into action (or as I like to think of it, experimentation).
You don’t have to know all the steps - you just need to know which direction you are moving in. This is especially important when you are taking the path less travelled and trying things where you don’t have all the answers or a roadmap to guide you.
I HOPE THIS HAS HELPED?
And if you are still struggling, why not book a Reset day with me so that I can ask you deeper rooted questions so you to find clarity move forward with intention.
I’m Stacey, Some might call me a Virtual Assistant or Business Strategist - but I like to think of myself as your Co-creation partner.
I’m not a photographer, but I have worked closely with photographers and in the wedding industry for over 10 years.
This outsider’s perspective is what enables me to help my clients spot the gaps to rebuild their photography businesses for them and not for their industry - leading to more joy, simplicity and their quiet rebel nature to be set free.
